TERMS OF USE

In accordance with the legal and regulatory provisions in force on the date of writing, and in particular with Law No. 78-17 of January 16, 1978 "Informatique et Libertés" and the General Regulations on the Protection of Personal Data, this charter exposes you your rights and remedies as well as everything there is to know about the collection, processing and purpose of use of your personal data at Atelier au fil de l'eau.

 

1) Collection of personal data:

Our will is that all data collected be collected only because they are useful and necessary for the processing for which they are collected. Optional data may be requested, but are in no way mandatory and are only used to personalize or improve the relationship with our customers. Here are the different reasons for collecting your data:

 

Managing your orders

- Manage your orders, both pre-sales and after-sales, and contact you by email in order to provide our best service and to notify you.

- Comply with our legal and regulatory obligations such as the registration of purchase orders and the establishment of invoices which must be kept for 10 years.

3) Fight against fraud 

In order to fight against payment fraud, or to manage any complaints, the Company may also  keep information relating to transactions by credit card or Paypal. But at no time do we know your credit card number or its expiry date, or the cryptogram, so in essence we do not keep this information. In addition, we have set up a multi-criteria system implementing alerts based on standard order profiles. This may lead us to ask you, in order to validate the order, for certain supporting documents (ID card, Passport, proof of address, etc.). The data thus collected will not be kept after verification. We may be required to temporarily block an order in manual validation time to carry out transaction security checks (3D secure guarantee) or to consult the supporting documents and sometimes to contact the customer. The order is then confirmed as soon as possible . 

 

4) Recipients of the data collected

Only our company and the external companies to which we are contractually bound for the management of your order have access to the personal data that you communicate to us. 

The external companies that will have access to your personal data as part of the processing of your orders are:

  • Our payment providers (Stripe or Paypal)

  • Our transport providers (La Poste)

 

As required by law, we ensure compliance with European regulations on the protection of personal data by all of our external service providers. The Company undertakes not to commercially sell the data that it will have collected on its site concerning you and to keep these only at European level or at a minimum, with foreign service providers guaranteeing compliance with the legislation in force. .
